Platford Commercial Realty dates back to 1984 when the inception of Platford Corporation was conceived. Platford started as a construction, development, and management company working with investors becoming what it is today—a full brokerage realty and development company ranging from commercial representation to investment management.

During the last twenty plus years Platford grew to a point under the watchful eye of principles Larry Dyer and Jack Anderson to manage and build over a 1.6 million square feet of industrial space while developing seventeen commercial/industrial sites in its investor portfolio.

Platford quickly became known as one of the most creative and innovative developers of incubator space in Northern Illinois with projects throughout Lake, McHenry, and DuPage counties, and most recently expanding to Wisconsin to include Racine County.

Due to the expanding demand for representation, Platford Commercial Realty was conceived, and currently employs four full-time commercial agents working in various disciplines from development, acquisition, buyer and seller representation, 1031 exchanges, and investment management.
